Very comfortable, with a sturdy arch. The all black looks dressy enough that I can wear them with dressier shorts or summer dresses. Loved these so much that I looked for another pair and got them.

I was looking for a flipflop or something I could wear inside my house but could kick on and off easily. My physical therapist had mentioned Chacos in another context. This flipflop sandal is amazing. It has better support than most of my regular shoes. Post surgery, when I have these sandals on, no pain in walking. Definitely plan on buying more Chaco sandals and looking forward to using them in the great outdoors. One note - go down 1/2 to 1 size. This style ran a little large.

First of all, I got a great deal on Shoebuy.com. I happened upon a 15% off sale and to my surprise, an additional 10% was taken off for registering with the site. You can't go wrong with free shipping both ways, either. When I received mine in the mail, I admit that at first they seemed tight and I was considering returning them. There is a fixed strap and an adjustable strap across the instep.I was able to find just the right spot on the adjustable strap, but the fixed one seemed tight. I decided to keep them and after just a little wear, they loosened enough that they didn't feel as tight. They still leave marks on my foot but they don't cut off my circulation. I have a pretty flat foot though, so these may not work for you if you have a high instep. They feel slightly narrow but they fit the shape of my foot perfectly. I really like that they stay on my foot and don't flip or flop. The support in the footbed is excellent, they are easy to clean, and how can you not like that they are made with 25% recycled material? I have a feeling I will be buying more Chaco sandals, I love these so much.I'd say if you are a half size, order the next size up.I take a 6.5 in a flip-flop/sandal usually and the 7 fits me perfectly in Chaco.
