Fit: This style is available in whole sizes only and tends to run small. If you normally order a 1/2 size it is recommended that you order the next full size up. For example, if you normally purchase a size 6 1/2 we recommend purchasing a size 7.

one shoe too tight between the toes August 30, 2012

I like the arch support and it felt nice on my feet but the arch support might feel a little too high for people who are not use to wearing orthodics. I sent these shoes back because the right shoe felt too tight where the strap is between the toes. It felt like it was too short. It may just be this particular shoe, I would have to try others like it to know for sure. The picture makes it look like the strap that runs across the top of the foot is one piece but it is actually two which is no problem for me. I bought the size 9 which is the size I usually wear in a shoe. My feet tend a little toward the wide side but not much. If I try this shoe again, I will try a half size larger because it felt a half size smaller than most 9's I wear.

I am very happy with my new Chaco Flips. I got them in Cherry Berry and I absolutely love the color. I think they look so much better in person than they did online. Having the two straps means sometimes that when you put the shoe on, the straps get twisted. A minor annoyance, I love the color so much that even knowing this beforehand, I would have still bought the shoe. The straps rubbed the top of my foot quite painfully for the first 2 days or so of wearing. Now that they are broken in, it no longer hurts. But, I don't think it should have been such a painful breaking in process, hence 4 stars instead of 5. I almost gave up wearing them, but since I am familiar with Chacos and love their arch support, I kept wearing them and am glad I did.
Wears this shoe: all the time!

They are comfy, supportive and the trend is great for wet decks also easy to clean, quick drying.
