I am 5'3" and find most boots too high, I loved the height of the boot and the fact that the calf wasn't too wide. It is a bit stiff and the zipper sticks a bit. It fits big, so don't order up, maybe even try ordering a half size down from normal.

I've had these boots for about a month and so far they have been holding up rather nicely. They seem to be well constructed and have kept my feet dry through a few inches of water. I love the fact that hey have a composite toe, because they are aren't nearly as heavy as my old steel toes. I typically wear an 8.5 but had to order a half size down to get the correct fit. Though the toe bed still has plenty of room for ticker socks if needed. They took about a week to completely break in and are now even more comfortable than my old well worn in boots were. I will definitely be buying these again once I wear through this first pair.
