This shoe features oiled full grain leather, nubuck, full grain leather or full grain leather with a rich oil feel/pull up leather. It also has nylon ,mesh lining, Climasphere™ sock lining, rubber midsole and a T3 rubber outsole. Cat® footwear with slip-resistant soles reduces the risk of slips and falls -- the hazard of low traction surfaces. Cat® Electrical Hazard footwear is rated ANSI Z41 PT99 I/75 C/75 EH. Special EH construction protects the wearer against open circuits up to 600 volts in dry conditions. Caterpillar® boots are rated ANSI Class 75 -- the highest available strength for impact and compression.

I normally wear a size 8 but I had read that the sizes come larger than usual so I got 7.5. Turns out it was still too large. Another thing is the front is low and there is no support whatsoever.

I think this is a very good shoe compared to anything on the market. Very good buy any day for any type of work especially for electrical work period.

The boot was what I came to expect from caterpillar. Having worn them for the past 18 years 8 to 12 hours a day while working, it's a comfortable boot that is also durable and I bought them from shoebuy.com since stores don't offer wide any more and was happily surprised.

Great work boot, very comfortable from the start, fit is true to size. I wear them 2 to 3 times a week 9-10 hours per day on my feet.

I have been wearing Caterpillars for probably 10 years and they always deliver what is expected. I work construction sites and though they are probably not the warmest or driest, they ultimately do a very good job.
