I bought these for my son, and they are holding up very well. He's in construction. They are not waterproof. I recommend putting a waterproof coating on them after you get them.

I purchased these for work 10+ hours a day in a mill. They fit great and are very comfortable. I wear them 6 days a week and everything is great.

I was seeking an electric-discharging shoe with steel-toed protection. I liked the price for these shoes, and they were called a "Second Shift", which I happen to be working. I do think that they are much too heavy. The inside of the "high-top" is not the same shape as my leg, so there is a "cushion" rim around that top that grips uncomfortably into my leg. And I don't think the black-rubber smell is ever going to actually wear off.
Wears this shoe: Only when required to wear safeties in the lab; not comfortable enough elsewhere
