I have to wear steel toe at work and this shoe fits comfortably and is very light.

This is the only steel toe shoe I will wear. Out of all the steel toe shoes that I have purchased, this is the only brand that doesn't hurt my feet. It is perfect in every way. I never had a problem with this shoe, and I've been wearing this brand for the last 12 years. It is the only steel shoe I will wear.

I had a previous generation of this style of Caterpillar shoe for about 5 years when it started to show it's age. I decided that if I got that much wear out of a pair, wearing them inside a factory on concrete flooring, that I'd get another pair. These feel about the same, although the inner sole has a bit of a different feel to it. Not uncomfortable, but almost like it's too thin. I may install an aftermarket one. My previous pair had a hook at the top of the lacing instead of an eye. I think I prefer that hook, as it made it quicker to get on in the morning! This pair seems like a pretty good shoe; we will see if I can get 5 years out of them.

This shoe is comfortable and wears well. The only issue I had was the loops the laces run through split on one shoe. They could make these loops stronger. It won't stop me from buying these as long as they make them.
