Product Description (Men's Caterpillar Argon Composite Toe)

The Argon from Caterpillar is a work boot/work shoe hybrid that features a nylon shank with strobel and cement construction. This boot is rated ASTM F2413-05 for protection from electrical hazards of up to 600 volts and features a composite safety toe that is undetectable in electronic security environments. The upper is made of leather and the lining is a nylon mesh which allows for foot breathability. The midsole features PU mold cushioning for a more personal fit. The outsole is an SRX extreme slip resistant outsole that exceeds industry standards and greatly reduces the risk of slips and falls in the workplace.

I kept tearing up my sneakers working in my yard and garden, so I figured I should get some work style shoes. These are perfect! Very comfortable. Nice and sturdy for the large amount of time I spend working outdoors. They are a bit roomy for me (I have narrow heels), but an insert fixed that problem. Plus having designated yard shoes, if they get muddy or stained, who cares. I expect these to last many growing seasons.

I like the shoe, but it's heavy. It also seems a bit wider then anything else I've ordered in a W.
