I liked the looks and the feel overall. I can feel the steel on my toes on both shoes slightly as if it needed to be spread out a little more. Not a big deal but noticeable. I would buy again.

Carolina CA7022 NEW BOOTS

Received the CA7022 NEW BOOTS today. I have owned several other styles of Carolina boots previously and wanted to try a lace-to-toe type boot. As can be expected with this type of footwear they are stiff when you first wear them. I've worn them about 8 hrs or so and my feet already are getting used to them, they seem to be breaking in nicely. If you are going to wear very heavy mountain type socks I would suggest buying at least a half size larger than normal. I'm using these to climb trees for arbor work. GREAT boot and would recommend them to a friend.

The site recommended to order a size rounded up from measurements, maybe that was too much, but with double or triple pair of socks it works out. There was a fold in the tongue (at the sides to connect to boot), I guess to make it waterproof but the leather fold at my ankles hurt a bit so I sliced it open. Ever since I've been loving them. I would recommend them as a winter working boot, not a summer boot. Probably I would go to a store to check out a shoe design and size from now on.

Very comfortable(I work 12 hr shifts so I need comfort). The boots were easily broken in. I bought the 2e because I have a wide foot and its hard to find a slip-on boot that fits. Good boot you can't go wrong.
