I bought these boots because I didn't want to spend $300+ on a pair of Hathorn's. And, most importantly, I wanted to "Buy American".I've only been wearing them for two weeks but, so far, so good. They are lightweight, were fairly comfortable to wear right out of the box, and have gotten more comfortable as they break in.The foot bed has a memory foam cushion I can feel. It is comfortable. I'm not sure about the Dryz system it has. When I took the boots off last night, and it wasn't a hot day yesterday, my feet were moist from sweat.Time will tell. I had Hathorns for 13 years and went through multiple soles with them. The Carolina's have big shoes to fill. Hopefully they'll be up to the task.

Great fit. Very durable. Best boot for the money. I have tried many boots over the years and these are the best by far. Would definitely recommend these.

My cousin introduced me to these shoes over 11 years ago. He was a kiln operator and spent at least 8 hours on a concrete floor and did nothing but praise these boots. The only complaint I have is with the sole. After prolonged exposure to oil the rubber swells and puff up in the middle. It's usually time for me to get a new pair when that happens, so I never get too worked up about it.There is little to no break-in time with these boots and I have learned not to rush drawing up the laces too quickly or the tongue will irritate the front of my legs/tops of my feet. They are still extremely comfortable right out of the box!As long as they continue to be produced, these are the boots I will buy. (Being made in USA is a huge plus too!)

First off it is a nice looking, extremely comfortable boot and made in the USA. Second it is tough as nails, I was up in the Adirondacks last summer and a horse stepped on the toe, nothing happened it didn't even dent. After two years of northeast winters the heel is coming apart a little so I am going to buy a new pair. I'll keep buying them as long as they make them.
