Received the CA7022 NEW BOOTS today. I have owned several other styles of Carolina boots previously and wanted to try a lace-to-toe type boot. As can be expected with this type of footwear they are stiff when you first wear them. I've worn them about 8 hrs or so and my feet already are getting used to them, they seem to be breaking in nicely. If you are going to wear very heavy mountain type socks I would suggest buying at least a half size larger than normal. I'm using these to climb trees for arbor work. GREAT boot and would recommend them to a friend.

Great boot. I could hang on a pole forever. It took 2 days to get used to the boot. The arch is really high or placed differently in the boot. It felt bad but the 2nd day in the boot it felt great. Waiting on a good rain to test the waterproof feature, and to break it in. If you hook poles, this is a good boot. Second pair of Carolina's and I don't think I would ever try a different brand.
