These are solid, very well made work boots, extremely comfortabe, I call them "Armored Personnel Carriers". These boots will protect your feet and ankles. I'm 55 years old, the 10 regulars I use to wear got big, I think the feet are shrinking, ordered the 9.5ee and they fit like they were made for me. There is no slop in the boot, the padded insides lock your foot right in. I got the non-protective toe, I plan on using them for hunting and in the boat.

work boots. you don't want to be hiking in these. felt narrow and with welt construction that can get painful. the leather is great, the sole is solid with good traction. good looking boot. you'll want to add a padded insole.
