Leather upper features a textured, rugged lining that wicks away moisture, a steel shank and 120+ lug outsole. Steel toe meets or exceeds the compression and impact testing rating of 1-75 and will absorb up to 75 lbs. of impact. Features DRYZ® technology, an innovative insole system that absorbs moisture and converts it into a dry gel within the insole of the shoe. As a result, the insole absorbs the moisture from perspiration throughout the day, yet remains dry to the touch.

I've been buying Redwings similar to this boot, and have worn them into the ground. I'll have to see with time to see if they hold up, but after breaking these boots in they feel just as good as my Redwings, for half the price. So far the nonvibram sole seems to be holding up. Like all boots they are a little uncomfortable for the first 20hrs or so that you wear them. It takes a little while to break in the leather and for them to mold to your foot
