Leather upper features a textured, rugged lining that wicks away moisture, a steel shank and 120+ lug outsole. Features DRYZ® technology, an innovative insole system that absorbs moisture and converts it into a dry gel within the insole of the shoe. As a result, the insole absorbs the moisture from perspiration throughout the day, yet remains dry to the touch.

These boots are replacing the Magnum boots that I have been wearing on my bikes for decades. I wanted something with a bit more protection. The CArolina is a heavier boot so it should protect my foot and ankle from the unthinkable. They took a day or two to break in. They also seem to have a taller heel than the boots I am accustomed to.

I bought these boots for my son-in-law who works outside in his job. He absolutely loves them and has asked me to get him another pair for Christmas. He likes the fact that they have so much tread on them. He said they are very comfortable and didn't even have to break them in.
