Leather upper features Dri-LEX® lining, a steel shank and a dual density polyurethane outsole. Features Poron® Permafresh shock absorbing cushioned insoles with anti-bacterial protection. Electrical hazard tested to withstand applications of 14,400 volts at 60hz for one minute without leakage. DRYZ® technology, an innovative insole system that absorbs moisture and converts it into a dry gel within the insole of the shoe. As a result, the insole absorbs the moisture from perspiration throughout the day, yet remains dry to the touch.

I was looking for a pair of classic leather boots, which is harder to find than it should be, and these fit the bill. I first wore them at a three day long outdoor rock fest at which it rained the entire time and my feet didn't even get damp. That was three years ago and they still preform just as well and look great.
Wears this shoe: When working or in bad weather.

Was looking for an inexpencesive work boot, the Carolina 8" work boot pertty much met my needs. Leather is a little stiff but i can live with it.
