Product Description (Men's Carolina 4x4 Euro Hiker Mid ST 1312)
Head for the hills in this handsome, dark red, leather hiking boot. A nylon mesh lining keeps air moving around your foot while the steel shank and rubber sole skillfully negotiate tricky terrain.
This shoe also comes with a removable polyurethatne footbed and a steel shank a EVA midsole and a rubber outsole.
Steel toe meets or exceeds the compression and impact testing rating of 1-75 and will absorb up to 75 lbs. of impact.

Material is supple and feels comfortable out of the box. Feels a little wide, though. Being an outdoor enthusiast, when my last pair of boots (9 years) gave it up I spent some time looking for a quality pair of boots to replace them. Really pleased when I found out that Carolina made hiking boots. I figured I would try them. Carolina Shoe has always meant quality from where I'm from. Really disappointed to find out these boots were made in China. Nevertheless, I will see how they hold up!
