I've worn this boot every day for 2 weeks. I am very satisfied. I wear it for work, everyday, and hiking. It's comfortable, covers my ankle (good for the motorcycle and other safety concerns), and seems to be well made. A couple of cons: The shoelaces started to shred the first time I laced them - I'll need replacements; also there is not a loop in the back for pulling the boot on. Seems odd they would leave that off the design, but they did. Despite those annoyances, I really think this a great boot. I was concerned about purchasing on the Internet, but with this website's shipping policy, I decided to take the risk. I will definitely shop here again.

If you are in the landscaping industry, you have to have the Carolina 4X4. I've been in the business for 3 years and this is the only boot I will wear. The boot wears like a sneaker, light and comfortable with ankle support. The 4x4 has a solid sole if you need to kick a shovel and if you step in a shallow puddle, your foot stays nice and dry.

These are great boots. I do construction work and the boots last a year. This is my third pair and I will continue to buy them for their good comfort and ankle support. They have very good grip on roofs.

I like that they keep my feet very warm and dry and I can even wear them with ankle socks. I don't like that 6" boots are not too flexible at the ankle. I would recommend potential buyers to look at the 4". Also, they may feel a little heavy after long walks. However it keeps snow and water out and will encounter minimal skid/slips on ice, which was the reason I purchased it.
Wears this shoe: During very cold, and wet weather
