I was looking for shoes to wear to a wedding and I like the look of this one. My favourite thing about it is that gold wedge heel. It does look as good in hand as it does online. There is a slight colour variance, probably due to the display on my computer screen, and I wish it is redder than it is. As it is, the colour tends more towards brown than red, but it is not a deal-breaker. It is a very high heel but because it has that platform sole, you don't have the strain of walking as though on the tips of your toes. It is a gentle slope. I really like the shoe. My only complaint is that I wish they were roomier. I wear size 11 shoes but if this shoe were available in 11 1/2 or 12, I would have sent them back for a larger size. They feel a little snugger than I like my shoes but because they are open sandals, and leather that I expect will stretch eventually, I'm keeping them. If they were covered shoes like pumps, I definitely think they'd be too tight. On the whole, I think that are a nice pair of shoes.
