Leather pull-on boot by Carhartt is the right boot for the job. Has direct attach welt construction, full grain leather/abrasion resistant Cordura upper, Dri-Lex lining and a removable polyurethane footbed. Has an oil/slip resistant PU ATV sole and a steel shank.

This is an excellent boot. They're very well made and rugged, but not overly heavy. Unfortunately, I'll be returning them because I have a narrow heel and wide toes, and being on my feet much of the day, my heels just move around too much in them. People with normal feet will love these boots. I'll probably take out a second mortgage and get a similar pair custom-made.
