For over 50 years, this best selling ballet shoe is known for its quality and durability.
Constructed of soft leather, the pleats are hammered flat to allow the dancer to feel the floor.
Includes a 3/8" elastic strap for individual attachment.
Fit:
Women should order same as street shoe size. Men should order 1.5 to 2 sizes larger than street shoe size.

I enjoy wearing ballet slippers as house slippers, but have trouble finding them in my size in bricks-and-mortar stores. I was very pleased when the online description seemed to indicate that the shoe would fit 9 1/2 mens and 10 1/2 womens (I am a woman). However, I cannot wear it because it turns out to be only size 9 womens. It is at least a full inch shorter than the Danskin size 10 womens in the same style. I ranked it 3-stars because the shoe is obviously well-made, and I've had Capezio before and enjoyed them, but the sizing in the description is misleading. I believe the "9 1/2" indicated on the shoe itself is purely intended for womens sizing, and it was the ad that was misleading or in error.
Wears this shoe: cannot wear it, too small. I wear this style at home as a cute house slipper.

This soft dance slipper was just what I had been looking for. I perform vocal solos, but really feel more comfortable in a low soft shoe. These shoes provide a formal, yet comfortable look and fit. I recently wore them in a performance of the Messiah. It was almost as good as singng barefoot.

I bought this shoe for my 9 year old daughter. I had been unable to find extra wide ballet shoes for her and thought I would give this a try. My daughter loves her new shoes, the width was perfect and now she doesn't complain when she has to put them on.
