Cape Clogs

Cape clogs were first made in Smaland, in the southern region of Sweden, over 150 years ago. For six generations, the clog manufacturing process has passed from parent to child, and the best practices have been preserved and refined to make the clogs we offer today.

Good looking clog and good company
By Pleased customer, from NYC | May 27, 2014

First, the "true to size" was a gereat releif; the design is subtle yet attractive and stylish. I wear clogs because of a torn Achilles tendon, and the wooden sole is important. However, clogs can look clunky but they can be made prettier, which these are. Shoebuy was quick to deliver, and quick to make the return of another pair I bought that were a 1/2 size larger but felt a full size larger. I am very happy with the shoes and the company. Be sure to oil the wood immediately and smooth out the slightly rough wooden surface. I also place very thin inner soles for added comfort. Overall, this was an exceptionally good online buying experience.

Love Love Love this shoe!

Awesome color (gold!) and great support for my high arches. The tops are a bit stiff where the leather meets the top of my foot, but I imagine that will change as I wear them and they stretch a bit. Not for a ton of walking, but if you are ok with wood soled shoes (not for everyone), I would highly recommend these!

Love Swedish Clogs
By SheLuvsShuz, from Atlanta, GA | April 30, 2014

I have fallen in love with these wooden clogs. The orthopedic foot-bed perfectly supports the body and posture, and my sweaty feet don't slide around. I can literally wear these all day. The leather uppers are fabulous. I do wish the exterior of the wood was sealed b/c these will not fair well in wet weather. My biggest complaint is the inconsistent sizing. I normally wear a 40EU, but my first pair of Cape Clogs I needed a 41 which was perfect, but I got 2 others in a 41 yet they are too long. Maybe this is a drawback to handmade shoes. I will stuff the toe with lambs wool.

My cape clogs
By domfeliz, from long beach, california | April 24, 2014

I love clogs. These are the only shoes I can wear with no stress to my injured back. As a nurse I have tried lots of shoes to keep me going on my 12 hour shift. And I rely on my clogs to protect my posture. In love Cape clogs because aside from the comfort it provides, it's fashionable. Their designs are made for people like me.
