Cape Clogs claims that these clogs make you feel lighter and more free as you walk. My beautiful gold clogs made it difficult to walk at my normal pace (i.e. energetic) and made my foot bleed within 20 minutes of walking in them! The heavy wood sole, combined with the loose fit at the front part of the foot, make these put pressure on your upper foot (near where the leather ends) when walking. The inside leather is not finished -- it is rough and will rub the skin off your foot with repeated pressure during walking. This is a big design flaw.
Wears this shoe: At parties and special events that mean I stand around more than walk.

I purchased this clog and everything felt fine until wearing for over 1 hour. The clog started to feel tight, and I need moleskin strips to relieve the chafing. I don't know if I would have kept the shoe had this not worked. Overall, shoe construction is fair.

I bought the clog to try the wooden bottom. Quality is nice. However, I have a high instep and the top of the clog opening is a little tight on the top of my foot. Red is bright and pretty.
