I used the bag once for a round trip totaling 6 hours. The plastic adjusters which feed the straps down to the car were completely bent and disfigured after the trip. I'm not sure if that meant I pulled them too tight, or that they are just flimsy. Other than that, the bag held up well at speeds up to 75 miles per hour. It folds up into an attached bag, the outer shell did not scratch my car, and it holds a decent amount of baggage (tents, sheets, bags, and pillows).

I have a small compact car and was worried that a car top carrier would be too large. This carrier was a perfect fit and held an amazing amount of items. I was really pleased with the 3 sided large zipper which allowed me to reach items no matter where they were stashed in the carrier. The ease in installation was surprising. I just opened my doors, inserted the hook, shut the door and tightened the strap! I did add a tiedown from hood to trunk (across the top) because I was traveling nearly 1000 miles at high speeds. It worked great. I would recommend this to everyone. I must admit that I was lucky to have fair weather my entire trip. I don't know how the carrier would be in inclimate weather. Just in case it was not waterproof, I put all the items I stowed in plastic garbage bags. For my needs and the price, I rate it an A+.

I purchased this product to allow for more storage space to go camping. It held more than I thought it would. Three sleeping bags, three pillows, three beach towels, three bath towels and three sheets.

We were so happy to find this product but the first time we used it, it fell apart. We were on our way out west and the waterproof lining just kept peeling off and flying down the road. We had to buy a tarp to cover it in case it rained. I thought it would last at least the summer.
