My nine year old daughter always insisted on having a messanger bag book bag for school. She started out the year with one and complained for the last two months about her shoulder hurting. That all ended the day we received this bag. There is ample storage for her binder and books. She used to have to carry her books seperate. The straps are padded and the back of the bag itself has padding on it. It is great. Thank you for introducing this product it is awesome.
