This rolling backpack measures 18" x 13" x 8" and is made of Rip Stop and polyester fabric.
The bag features a self-locking 3-section retractable rectangular handle system.
There is also a heavy-duty in-line skate wheel system and a separate pocket compartment on top.
The Run-a-bout also has an easy grip handle, air flow foam back system, and self-repairing excel zippers.

My son loves this backpack. He can fit all of his school books and binders in it. It looks compact, but it's got a lot of room!

An ergonomic, expensive looking bag for adult professionals

The price:quality ratio of this bag is HUGE. I have received so many comments on how $$ it looks, yet I paid very little for it. Of all of the CalPak bags that I looked at, this one looks the most professional looking and if you have a business suit on, the bag does not mar your image. The inside of the bag has 3 compartments, but the laptop PC sleeve can be removed. Love the expandable top for accessories such as cords, iPods, cellphones, etc. This bag has lots of smaller pockets to stow things in. The bag is sturdily made, and rolls smoothly. The only con to having this bag (applies to all rolling luggage) is that when the bag is filled, it is QUITE heavy. The bag is clearly designed to be rolled, not carried around for long on the back and certainly I would hesitate to lift it too often by the handle on the top when the bag is full.
