Enough space (barely) for my 17" laptop, yet small lightweight and compact, seems pretty durable, but time will tell. The only thing I didn't like is that there's a little lip over the zipper outline that makes it hard to zip/unzip the pack quickly (you have to lift the lip up to zip), but I guess it protects the opening somewhat.
