After receiving the CalPak Grand Stand rolling backpack, we are pleasantly pleased. The backpack is of the utmost quality. It is well worth the price we paid. The look is kid-friendly and provides relief for the 4th graders back. This product is highly recommended and I would purchase it again!

My daughter has been asking for a rolling backpack for 2 years. I finally caved in and looked. After finding about 3 both she and I liked we ended up buying two - one for her (entering 4th grade) and my son (entering 7th grade). We chose the CalPak Grand Stand because of the stowaway handles (no dragging straps), it is large enough for books and other school supplies but not too big/heavy to lift if needed. The quality seems to be really good but the test will be once school starts and both start using it.

Great backpack

We bought this backpack for our 4th grade daughter for school, but we got to break it in on a trip to Disneyland. The best thing about this backpack is the front legs are longer and keep the pack from touching the ground and that the straps are tucked away in a pocket to keep them from dragging on the ground, too.Our daughter REALLY likes this pack and says it's easy to control the handle (which has two bars and not just the one skinny bar). We have no complaints and would recommend this bag so far... seems to be great quality!

I bought this backpack after looking at the other reviews. I really needed something that appeals my 8 year old girl and also that would not fall apart within a month. Her last backpack was little cheaper but lasted her about a month. This looks more sturdy and hoping for it to last for a while. One thing though, it did seem little pricier!
