Closed toe describes a shoe or a sandal that is closed or partially closed at the front. Some closed toe styles, such as oxfords, loafers and mules, have completely enclosed fronts, while closed toe sandals, such as the fisherman sandal, have a protective closed toe area but open sides, which allow water to drain away from the foot.

Bought these shoes for hiking, walking the dog, daily use, office, etc. Appreciate that the tip has something to protect the toes. Really like the color. Just sad they don't carry women size 12 so I ordered mens. Still love'em.

I absolutely love this shoe, extremely comfortable with plenty of support. I have practically lived in mine for work this summer but worried I will wear them out coz they are a favourite!! I am on average a size 10 AU but ordered the 9.5 & it was perfect.

So excited to finally find these. They are very comfy. A little tight in the front, as my foot has spread with age. I am. 50 and still have narrow feet. I wore them for a day and they already have stretched in the front because they're leather. Would love to have the black and the brown, but wearing a 91/2 narrow they aren't available. Maybe soon!
