Just opened the box and found a gorgeous pair of boots... but too big! I'd read the reviews and ordered a half size down but should have ordered a full size down. I have returned and ordered another pair. Hope they get here soon. Can't wait to wear them. Soft leather. Look super expensive (which they are!)

The quality of this boot is superb and comfort is unprecedented, for me at least. My odyssey to find the most comfortable yet durable hunting boot that would serve me well on any excursion I may find myself on started a year and a half ago. I have tried Schnee's Beartooth, every Meindel boot that Cabelas sells, Danners, Lowa Tibets (old style), Lowa sheep hunters, Lowa hunters (yes there is a deference),Lowa Camino GTX (which are great boots and I now own 2 pair of them but they aren't a true hunting/backpacking boot), Kenetrek mountain extreme, 3 different kinds of Asolo, 3 different kind of Scarpas, and a pair of Zamberlan's. After all of that I can tell you these are the best of the best. They are expensive but they are worth every penny. Don't waist your money trying to find the perfect boot I have already done that for you. The Lowa Bighorn the boot all other boots wish they could be. Spend the money and try these boots you wont be disappointed.

This boot fits my foot like a custom made boot without the custom made price tag. When they first arrived, I immediatly put them on and started cooking dinner, doing laundry and other household activities. 4 hours later my foot was still comfortable. That is REALLY something for me as I usually have to wear arch support inserts because of my tendancy for plantar facitis. LOVE my new boots. Great quality and will stand the test of time.

These boots literally fit like a glove. They are made beautifully and are so comfortable that I wish I could afford them in every color! I have short, relatively large legs/calves and the fact that these are a mid-rise boot that suction to my calves is wonderful! I highly recommend these...the grey suede are beautiful!
