I have ran in this shoe a total of about 5-6 times and they are very nice thus far. I did have a blister developing on my last run but I'm sure that has to do with the fact that they are new. Other than that, they are light weight and very breathable and good for both the road and the trails.

I started my search by typing in plantar fasciitis, and comparing the product information. I chose the Brooks Trance 7 because it fit what I was looking for, PLUS other reviewers on this site had great things to say about the shoe. I bought the shoe 1/2 size larger to accommodate the padded arch support I'm using. I wear a size 10 and ordered the 10-1/2 and it is perfect.
Wears this shoe: Everywhere (except church) - work, movies, exercise, etc.

Bought shoe for distance training. Slight pronator. Previous shoes caused ankle problems in higher mileage. This shoe feels so great, like it has a built in orthotic. Perfect support and cushioning. Zero breaking in required.

Though I was a little hesitant because of the cost of the shoe, research I had done recommended it as an outstanding shoe for heavy/obese walkers. Combining this shoe with suggested improvements in walking techniques have been a godsend. Having little choice but to walk primarily on pavement, these shoes have been wonderful for me. I found them at a reduced price. They're worth every penny, and so am I.
