I wear Brooks Adrenlines for road running, and was looking for a comprable trail running shoe. Someone suggested I try the Cascadia for even more stability (I overpronate), so I did. The trail I run is a mix of wood chips, sand, gravel, and packed dirt. This shoe handles all of it, even the squashy parts, so I don't have to worry about my foot rolling or losing my stride. The padding so far is great (after 25 miles of non-consecutive runs) and I'm pleased with the ventilation. I would recommend this shoe over the Adrenline trail show for someone looking for that extra bit of heel stability for trail runs where the terrain could become an issue for overpronators who have the tendency to roll out.
