I've only put about 20 miles in these so far but I like them a lot. I will have wait to see about wear. They're a bit heavier than the others I've have been wearing for a couple of years but, I like the fit and feel even better. However, if you are considering these be aware that you probably need to go up a full size from your street shoes. "Felt true to size" is a bit misleading since I went up a full size from my usual 9.5 to a 10.5 however, I guess the 10.5 is "true to size as marked" in the sense that it is a 10.5 and not some reasonable facsimile thereof. I presume the "full size up" applies across the entire range of men's sizes.

I ordered this shoe for my son, he's a big guy 6'5" 290lbs. The shoe is worth every penny. The support system built within the shoe provides the pronation support he needs. The look is very up-to-date. He has had many positive comments from his sports trainers about his "Beast" shoes because they also wear them and think they're a great shoe.

For the last 5 years I have only bought Brooks beast shoes for my gym workouts. They provide the best support for my feet and reduce stress on knees, etc...will continue to keep buying same shoes to compensate for my pronating feet.

I only buy Brooks Beast, this is my 5th pair. Absolutely love them, after getting fitted for this shoe a couple years ago, I haven't looked back. Has made running a lot less painful!!
