I have been a nurse for 20 years, and in that time I have worn many types of shoes and orthotic inserts for my flat feet. When I tell you that I have no arches, I really mean NO ARCHES...ZERO. You can imagine the pain that I have suffered in my feet, ankles, back, hips and knees from years of standing on hard floors for hours at a time. On top of that, I have fibromyalgia. I saw an article in a health magazine a few months ago about shoes to help my condition and I was soon on a hunt for the perfect shoe. I had it narrowed to this shoe and the Saucony Progrid Stabil LE4. When I found the Shoebuy site and read rave reviews from nurses like myself, I knew that I HAD to get these. I've been wearing them for 3 weeks now and I love them. I don't limp around like Quasimodo after 12 hours and when I get out of bed the next morning I'm not stiff with the "Fred Sanford" walk. My ankle pain that I've had since 2001 is much improved. As a result I have a little more energy on the job and when I get home...my legs don't feel so heavy. I HATE to wear any of my other shoes! They are very cushy to walk in. My feet don't pronate as bad, either. I like the wide toebox. Some say that they aren't the cutest but I don't care. I wear flare leg jeans and scrubs with them and they are covered up anyway. They hold up better than the big-name brands, I think. I'm wearing them without inserts now; will try them later to see. I will certainly be getting some more of these shoes!

My feet hurt at the end of the day with these shoes I have never had this problem with Brooks shoes. Maybe cause they are new, I will give it more time.
