This is a beautiful shoe that I bought to wear to a black tie affair with an evening gown. I am 6' tall and needed a shoe with a lower heel. I am also a size 11 which can be difficult to find at times. I find this shoe to be wonderful, and I love them except for one thing. It says to purchase a half size smaller. Well there are no half sizes in the 11. When I received them they were way too large. I was leery about doing this but ordered an entire size smaller. They fit like a glove and I love them. Just consider ordering perhaps an entire size smaller.

For my feet the fit was ok. They seemed to run a little narrow for my wide feet. I kept them because I was able to loosen the strap. The bronze color is nice.

this is my fifth pair of the Mephisto Helensandals and I wear them everywhere. I have been buying them for several years and they are a great fitting, supportive sandal. I had ankle surgery with some foot issues and I can walk well in these sandals...winter and summer. I would be lost without them....they feel wonderful!

I liked the shoe; the wide was true to size and the heel height was comfortable. The color was a little off from my dress, but I figured I could get away with it. My dress is taupe colored.

These shoes were really great, awesome neutral color, comfortable platform, very versatile, wide width. I would have loved to keep them but the heel was a little high for me. It is not really a very high heel....the problem is my feet. It is not easy to find a shoe with a generous platform for comfort and a decent heel height. I wish I could have kept them, but they would have been taxi shoes and I don't have a need for that.
