Purchased this for my milestone birthday celebration in Mexico. The shoe was very nice for the occasion. The ankle elastic is not very tight, so the support is not great. It was fine for walking around the resort inside of the hotel, however I can't see wearing it outside or having to walk any distance in it. But it's a really cute shoe. I normally wear a size 8 shoe, 8.5 in sandals but could have worn a 9 in these and I have never purchased a 9 in any shoe. My foot did not hang off or over the shoes, but I like to see a little toe space in my sandals.

I bought several pair of these shoes for bridesmaids at my neices wedding. All but one girl loved them but her problem was her feet not the shoes. I had to exchange mine because the strap for the ankle was not long enough. Again poor planning on my part not the shoes.

I bought this shoe for my mother to wear at my daughter's wedding. She recently broke her hip and one foot was swollen. There is velcro in front and back so I was able to make one shoe wider than the other. It's very cushioned. I thought it was worth a try because of the great reviews everyone else gave it, and I see why. I think the little twist of the leather gives it nice style. Overall, a nice purchase.

I originally bought the Paris in the silver, size 39 (a US 8, I believe), which is my normal size...too big, all over. I ended up with the copper color, a size down to 38. I love the unusual color (not gold, not brass) and the size is perfect now....I think Naots run a bit large in general. They, like all Naots I have, are very comfortable, pricey, but worth it. They also wear very well, and have STYLE ! And the velcro closure they use alot are a very well-chosen feature....no messing around with buckles and trying to find that "just right" hole.
Wears this shoe: a dressy/casual look, like with nice bohemian cotton skirts
