This shoe fits great from the first time that you put it on. There is no break-in period. It supports your feet and legs through 12 hour days. It is really a god-send for someone who is on their feet for long hours and has to have a dress shoe with safety soles. My husband has been wearing this style of shoe for 6 years and it always remains the same. He has a very hard foot to fit and continuity of size in a particular style is most important.

I've bought about 5 pairs of these shoes over the past several years. They are very durable and easy to take care of. I wear them every day and they normaly last about 1 1/2 years before the heals wear out. They have very good support in the arch over the entire life of the shoe. The only negative is that the unique shoe laces aren't sold in stores so I've had to get replacement shoe laces that were close matches. I go walking in the same shoes with no problems. Brown is very good to wear with jeans or kaki slacks.
