Great shoe for the money. Very comfortable and has a nice rubber patch on the sole to avoid slipping. Breaks in nicely and is comfortable for all-day wear.

I've been wearing this style Bostonian for many years. It's durable, can be worn for work and other fancy occasions. Occasionally, the shoe does develop a squeek to it, and sometimes, the shoe laces seem to unravel. You know when the shoe needs replacement as the shoe will develop a louder noise when walking on harder surfaces. But it holds up well to wear. Very comfortable. I've worn these shoes at times for several hours, and my feet are not sore.

This seems like a well-made, good-looking shoe. The leather appears to be wearing very well, and the stitching, whether invisible or double stitched, looks to be top-quality. The more I wear it, the more it feels just a littest bit snug, but it's not enough to really complain about. Like most dress shoes, this isn't the most comfortable shoe you'll ever wear, but it's the nature of the beast. My recommendation (and likely what I'll do next time) is buy a size larger and put in a full-length insert for comfort.

I am never able to find a wide in retail stores, and buying it from the speciality shoe store in the mall just does not do it for me. I found this shoe at shoebuy, the exact same shoe that I would have bought at the mall if they had it, at less than half the retail price.

Creaking

My shoes creak like crazy, does anyone else have this problem? Does anyone have any ideas to stop the creaking? It's coming from the rubbing between the wings and the main upper shoe. Otherwisr they're very comfortable.
