I have had these shoes for several years and just bought a replacement pair since I wore the old ones out. They're quite comfortable, work well with formal, business casual, and casual clothes (everything from suits to jeans), and the color matches a pretty wide variety of clothes. My one complaint is that when I bought my first pair in 2009, one of the shoes had an audible squeak when I put my weight on it. I wore those shoes for three years and constantly there was only one of them making this horrible squeaking sound. Luckily, the replacement pair I bought in 2012 does not have this problem. Still, from reading other people's reviews, it seems like the squeaking problem is not all that uncommon.

I was looking for a good set of business-casual work shoes. These fit the bill nicely. I really like the way the stitching runs and it maintains a nice, conservative look.I have found that Bostonians run a bit narrow for me and I decided to go with a wide model. My foot fits in great now but it swims in there a little bit, requiring me to tie the laces pretty tight. This is a minor knock on the shoe.The inner sole feels very comfortable. I move around a lot throughout the day and my feet have not felt sore when I come home. In fact, I like these shoes so much that I will probably end up ordering a second pair in brown.

My husband has worn these shoes for years and, before that, another similar, now-discontinued Bostonian style. He walks most of the day in NYC (and he walks hard and fast!), and these are the most comfortable shoes he's found and the ONLY ones he'll wear to work. He even wears them a lot on the weekends because they're more comfortable than his casual shoes, including sneakers. They look great with almost everything - a suit, dress slacks, khakis, or jeans.

Very nice shoe, very comfortable right out of the box, beautiful leather, rich brown color, great style. Needed a new shoe to wear to bus cas workplace and a night out with a pair of jeans.
