I liked the design of the shoe and construction. The materials all seem to be of high quality. Shoestrings were rather long for a dress shoe and overpowered the look but that was easily fixed with a replacement pair. Shoe size runs at least a full size larger, probably 1 1/2 sizes.

This is a nice contemporary take on a classic dress shoe, it is extremely comfortable right out of the box. Fits true to size and has a good arch. Leather bottom with rubber heal. This shoe needs no break in and does not rub your heal!!

What I liked most about these shoes is that there was no required break-in period. Other dress shoes I have had to flex for awhile, and some I have even had to apply small patches of moleskin to the insides to stop the leather from rubbing a blister on the side of my heel (where the stitching comes together; it was the correct size shoe). These felt great right out of the box and have only been getting better.The only complaint I would have is that the shoelaces don't grip on a knot very well, and the laces come undone. I retie my shoes a couple times a day because of this.
