The Bostonian Capi fills a needed void for a good looking durable slip-on dress / dress casual shoe. It has sharp styling, and fairly good comfort overall. This shoe seems to run at least a half size larger than marked. I needed to drop that much, and still find that the shoe fits a bit large, especially on my left foot, which is unusual, as my left foot is slightly larger than my right. As with its companion oxford styled shoe, the Expresso, the Capi is a sharp looking bicycle toe shoe with modern updates and streamlining. The same issues in terms of shock absorption and cushioning that I found in the Expresso are present here, too. The two-pod comfort system does not seem to offer enough cushioning where it is needed most -- under the ball of the foot and heel. This does not mean to say that this shoe will be uncomfortable to all people. In addition, unlike others in the past, I have not found the soles to be of any problem whatsoever with noise. I would recommend this shoe for people that are not on their feet for long periods of time, or walking long distances, as well as those that do not have a narrow heel or low foot arch. This probably explains my problems with the loose heel fit.
