Product Description (Women's Born Tessa)
These updated motorcycle boots, looks great with skinny jeans and a soft cashmere sweater. It's made of suede material with an Opanka hand-sewn construction, DRYZ® moisture-managing footbed, lightweight rubber outsole, and steel shank. The measurements are approx. 11.5" in shaft height, 14" in shaft circumference, and 1.75" heel.

Versatile Boot

I love the way this boot works with skirts and dresses. The buckles are a great stylistic touch, and classes up an outfit while keeping it fun. I wish the silver zipper on the inside was darker, but that's a minor point. The boots are incredibly comfortable and are very adjustable, which is great for larger calves. Love them love them love them!

I have received so many compliments on these boots! I usually wear them over leggings with a long sweater but sometimes with a skirt to work. They are incredibly soft and comfortable as you would expect from Born. They have decent traction for snow and ice; however, these are not apres ski boots to trapse around in deep snow. They keep my feet warm on the long, cold drive to work, yet they are breathable to prevent my feet from sweating all day like snow boots would. The calf-width is highly adjustable with the two upper buckles, so it's great for those of us with bigger calves. The color isn't a true gray. It's more of a brownish-gray which actually makes it more versatile. The only negative I see is that it would have been really nice if they were waterproof.

I have several pairs of Born shoes, so I ordered the size I typically wear. The boot fit as it should. It pretty much looks just like the picture online. I really like it.

I wasn't sure about the grey color initially, but I find it extremely versatile - able to wear with any color, casual or going out. I love the quality of the leather, lightly padded lining, functional adjustable buckles, insole and good traction without mega tread - as well as the quality of construction. These are my first Borns (no pun intended), and they are well worth the price. I also like that you can size the calf circumference to fit what you are tucking into them, and the not-too-high rise for those of us without supermodel-length legs. Last, they're easy on/off with the burly zipper.
Wears this shoe: With skinny jeans, under boot cuts, with tights/leggings and skirts.

I was stunned at how cushy & cozy these boots were. I have some other boots but they are not nearly this comfy. The footbed has almost half of an inch of padding. Plus, the shaft of the boot is adjustable & the suede is slouchy without being formless so I was able to squish in my jeans without any problems. The only downside is that the boots seem to run big.
