This shoe is great; it fits well and is not too narrow as can happen with the larger sizes. (I bought a size 10.) The fleecy lining is generous and soft - very warm. The insole, along with this lining makes it really comfortable. I also like the way it looks with jeans, perfect for my Northwest climate. I did treat the outside with suede waterproofing - the leather took it well and did not darken. Great shoe.

The Born Gabi is a very snuggly warm winter shoe. It seems to be quite comfortable, but the weather where I live hasn't been cold enough yet to really try it out. Born shoes are very well made, but have a tendency to run small, as with this pair. You will want to order larger than you normally wear to ensure fit.
