I love the tiny, barely noticeable blend of green and brownish red flower print on these. It makes them a little fancier than regular black 1460s, but still not too showy. The sole on these is a clearish black rather than the usual clearish dark brown, and the welt stitching is black rather than the normal yellow. This makes for a very clean looking, pretty boot. I was also happy to find that the leather on this particular pair of 1460s is quite pliable and broke in quickly with no pain at all. I found these boots very true to size (I am a US7, purchased my usual DM size UK5).

The shoes are very stiff when they first come but adapt fast to the size and shape of your foot. I have found in my experience they do not stain and it is easy to remove anything that may touch the boot. The boots are soft, smooth, and comfortable.

Got these for my daughter. She has a very narrow foot that is between a 12-13 AA so it is very hard to find her shoes. She began a new job and needs a sturdy shoe with a no skid type sole. For the money this seemed to be her best option since it is a high-top and lace-up boot giving her an ability to tighten it to fit more snuggly. This style and color also gives a stylish feel that you can wear other places, not just work!! The shoe appears to be very well made. First time purchase of a Dr. Marten. Long time style of Grunge Rockers!!
