Great mud boots
By Nancy, from California and Europe | December 26, 2011
I purchased these boots for my son and everything about the process was easy. The size just right (a size 15!) They are warm, waterproof, easy to hose off mud (and worse!) and the best part are the wonderful design of the cut-out handles for easy pull-on. They are also pretty light in overall weight...an important feature since they will be carried in a backpack across Europe for six months.

What can I say? Boggs are the best!
By Roger M., from Whitefield, Maine | February 23, 2011
So, the reason why I bought this pair was, I had bought a pair similar (classic) and was snowmobiling in Maine. When my sled broke through the ice, my boggs kept my feet warm. I was standing in chest high water for 45 mins, and my feet never got cold. They acted like a wet suit for my feet! It saved my feet, that is what the paremedics told me. I love these boots! The only drawback to them is the tread. There is not hardly any traction or depth to the tread. But they are 100% waterproof (if it doesn't come in over the tops) and holds heat very well. I use my old pair, that have a hole in the ankle (pin hole where my dog chewed it) for around the farm chores. They still are warm, but not really water proof anymore. Thanks fluff! (my dog)

Decent Slush and Muck Boot
By Bmoo, from Jersey Shore | January 25, 2011
All in all a decent slush and muck boot. Above average insole is pretty thick with moderate arch support. The actual sole of the boot is not ideal for ice, but closer to a deck shoe pattern with traction on the outer edges. I imagine this makes for easier hosing off of mud. I have stepped in ankle deep slush and mud with no leaks and warm feet. I do not see this as a shoe for 40 below as advertised though. You essentially have a neoprene inner boot glued inside a rubber boot vamp (almost like waders). There was some adhesive that was on the neoprene boot stalk and over all fit and finish is B class, but you don't buy this for style. You can put em on fast with the roper style grip handles and mid calf height makes for easy meandering in all but the deepest muck.
