Bogs Urban Walker
Excellent Storm Slip-On
March 14, 2013
Reviewer: Ted from Baltimore
I've experimented with multiple slip-on storm-type shoes and there is no doubt that every single one from Bogs is far beyond others in overall design and comfort. In fact, overall comfort of every Bogs shoe I've tried so far (Bridgeport, Fremont and Urban Walker) is as good or better than that of any other shoe I've ever owned. The Urban Walker may not possess the look to be my first choice for the shoe I'd wear out on the town but it is relatively lightweight and extremely comfortable. The insoles have a real arch in them that I've only seen in the most expensive after-market insoles that I use in most of my other shoes. They are relatively easy to slip on (using a quick finger to help the heel in place). My feet are slightly wider than average in the front and slightly narrower than average in the heel. The Urban Walker fits perfectly.

These are THE BEST !!

I have struggled and struggled with a variety of big, bulky winter boots that have LONG laces ( that get knotted and tangled ) and the boots are really tough to get on and off . To compound the problem, I wear a large shoe and the boots get really big and cumbersome to move in. The Bogs that I bought are THE BEST !!!! Really, really easy to slip on and off because the top is all rubber and stretches EASILY, even over heavy socks. I thought the downside might be that, because they didn't have a lining, my feet would get cold. Not so at ALL!! I live in Oswego, NY, and we have cold and lots of snow. I'm not one to fill out a survey like this - but these boots are really, really great.

My dogs love my Bogs!

These were my second pair of Bogs. The first have lasted over five years, but I wanted a second pair to keep in my weekend cabin. They're super comfy, absolutely water- and muck-proof, and the perfect warmth. I wear them in the winter with wool socks, in the heat of summer with cotton (to walk the dog when it's rainy). The neoprene upper lets then breathe more than Wellies.

Nice boots

I bought these boots because I was looking for a good pair of boots for rainy days in the city. I walked with the boots for two hours in the rain on various surfaces (different types of stone, concrete, steel). The boots were quite comfortable even though they were slightly heavy and large (I ordered a 15 as I'm typically either a 14 or a 15 depending on shoe, but I think a 14 would have been too small). My feet remained dry and I didn't slip even on surfaces which most soles don't perform well on.The outside temperature was slightly above freezing and my feet remained warm and didn?t perspire. I have no details about how they feel in colder or warmer weather.
