These boots are great. I bought them primarily to keep my feet dry while I bike to work in the rain and to substitute shin high rain boots that just make your legs sweat if you're active. They are super comfy but not too bulky or thick like some of the heavy duty, insulated Bogs (albeit great for snow or winter farming). At a size 7 I've got room for thick wool socks, which is what I wanted. Overall, dry and warm feet=happy bicycle commuting and everyday wear. I haven't experimented with these in the snow or temperatures lower than 45 F, but don't anticipate problems for temps as low as 32 F.At first I thought the contact with the shoe where it fits right above my ankle was a little awkward, but since I mostly wear thick socks, it hasn't been a problem. I don't notice a bit of discomfort and look forward to the durability of Bogs shoes.
