Boat shoes are shoes designed for yachting and sailing activities. Boat shoes have soft soles and heels to avoid marring or scratching a boat deck. Boat shoes are two to three eyelet oxfords, often with lacing woven around the heel with a moccasin-like look. Boat shoes are also commonly referred to as deck shoes.

My husband liked the style of this shoe and how light it was. But unfortunately it wasn't long enough. He usually takes between a 9.5 and 10 and his 10 was too small.

I love my new Sperry deck shoes. I chose the authentic brown leather, and love how they look and feel. They were a bit smaller and narrower than I expected, but as a summer shoe, feel I will be wearing them with little or no sock, so they will be perfect!
