Some dress boots miss the point: you don't spend your whole life dressed up. The classic Blundstone understands.
This is a boot that's as comfortable on the trail as it is in town. And the polyurethane soles make a lot of sense in a country like the USA where winter can often be cold, not to mention wet, slushy and miserable. They love the punishment.
The thinner sole profile lets your dress them up or down, they do a nice job of chipping the formal "edge" off a suit. The patented Shock Protection System absorbs 33% of the abuse so your bones and joints don't have to. Weatherproof leather uppers fused into the soles.
Is it a casual dress boot? Is it a dressy casual boot? You decide.
Fit:This style tends to run large. For an accurate fit we recommend purchasing a 1/2 size smaller than you typically purchase. For example, if you normally purchase a size 7 1/2, we recommend purchasing a size 7.

I have been a Blundstone user for many years. My legs are artifical so weight and fit are very important and Blundstone fills the "bill". The durability of these shoes are the greatest.

I'm happy I got these boots and have worn them everyday since getting them! They are easy to get on - I have a high arch and was worried they would be hard to pull on, but the elastic gores give easily (and are heavy so they should hold up well). The leather is heavy and durable but also very soft, and there was virtually no break-in period. They are a bit too wide, I don't have narrow feet either. I probably could have gone a half-size smaller, and definitely need to wear heavy socks to make up for the extra space, but that's not a problem for me. All in all I'm glad I got them!

The color on the 062s is supposed to be brown or chestnut. Mine are dark brown almost black. I have a friend who owns a pair . He says his showed up the same way. After six months they have lightened in color to a nice rich brown. The 062s run a bit snug. Buy a half size larger.

Leather quality not what it once was

This is my fifth pair of oblique-toe Blunnies. I have to say that the quality control on the leather has continued to slide; it looks nothing like the picture but is nigh black with a waxy finish. Nevertheless, I will shine 'em up and put them in my rotation in place of the pair that I finally had to pitch after three years of every-other-daily wear.
