Very comfortable, with soft sole. Works well both a daily walk about and in casual dress office (I work for internet company).Only issue is that it runs half size big. I originally ordered 12's and had to return them for 11.5.

I encouraged my husband to try a better quality pair of workshoes, and he liked the look of these, plus the pull on style. Unfortunately, he is not real impressed with these shoes, so far. He had to buy an insole right away because of lack of arch support and the sole felt like a 2 x 4. Unless something changes, he feels the shoes are not worth the money we paid.

I picked up a pair of 500's when I was in Australia and New Zealand in 2000. The soles were starting to completely break down this summer, so I left them at my family's ranch so I could use them while we are there. These boots last forever. I didn't realize how much I would miss them! They are the best shoes ever. I ordered a pair of 550's from shoebuy and they are great. Better fitting than the 500's. They are a little looser in the heel, but they kind of have that new cowboy boot feel where the heel slips until the sole breaks in. Other than that, Best boots ever. When my new ones arrived, I told my wife that I will always own a pair.
