Shoe felt very wide, heel especially

I read many of the reviews (also from the various colors as well). I decided to get this blue color, in my usual size, 8 Wide. When I read many of the reviews, there were some that mentioned that the shoe did run larger than usual and that the heel was wider, too. Well, I should have listened, especially about the heel portion. When I received my shoes earlier today; initially when I opened the box, I was pleased. Pleased with the look of the shoe; very cute, nice colors, etc. Then the part where you try on; not so great. My normally sized 8 Wide feet, in these particular shoes looked almost lost in these shoes. (Well, maybe not lost), but I tell you they were at LEAST a size (possibly a tad more) larger AND wider than what I anticipated. Yes, they were a size 8Wide shoe. Let me say, these particular shoes run large and yes, in the heel, too. Unless you have a very wide - say extra wide foot and larger type heel, I would say these might work for you. I also have a decent size bunion on my left foot just to give you an idea plus I had one removed on my right and I require comfort. I am disappointed I have to return these as they are nice looking and I really wanted to keep them. However, I simply cannot and am returning and will look for a different type of shoe, with hopefully no problems with sizing, fit, etc. Especially since this would have been my first order from Shoe Buy.com These things do happen however. Customer Service was very nice and accommodating.

This is my second pair of Propet shoes. I wear them to work on cement floors. They are cute with skirts and tights combo as well as under pants. I have purchased 2 more pairs recently. My first pair of Propet shoes were purchased 2 years ago, and I just washed them. That convinced me to purchase more. I think I am hooked.(Too bad they don't make heels!)I LOVE my Propet shoes!
Wears this shoe: To work and shopping. I plan to walk in them this summer.

The shoes are comfortable and look great. I was reluctant to get synthetic uppers because I was afraid they would not breath, but I don't have a problem with these.

I am really sad that these didn't work out, because I am in desperate need of shoes for Zumba. However, they were so long, that I would trip over them. I tried sizing down, but it was not only too long, but too tight. I wish they could get wide shoes right. They are cute shoes though! If you have longer feet, maybe they will work for you.

This slipper is extremely comfortable, and I highly recommend it. It is not a slipper to be worn when one wants to be beautiful. It makes the feet look very large; however, if you have problem feet or spend a lot of time standing each day, you'll really enjoy wearing these slippers.
