I have feet that often hurt me, but I was able to walk around in these shoes right out of the box and found them to be very comfortable. They look good too. My only objection is that the bed of the shoe is made of a felt-like material and it's already pilling right where the ball of my foot meets the shoe bed. I've only had the shoes a couple of weeks, so I'm not sure how much worse this will get. On the bright side, you can't see this if you look at the shoe while you're wearing them. However, overall I am pleased with the shoes and plan to wear them on vacation where I'll be doing a lot of walking.
